The Shelly Pro 1PM is the professional, DIN-rail mountable version of the 1PM series. While the standard Shelly 1PM Gen3 is designed to hide behind wall switches, the Pro 1PM is built to live inside your home’s main electrical panel (breaker box).
It is a single-channel relay that combines high-capacity switching with precision power monitoring and industrial-grade connectivity.
Professional Connectivity: LAN + Wi-Fi
The “Pro” series is designed for mission-critical reliability.
- Ethernet (LAN) Port: This is its standout feature. By plugging it directly into your network via an RJ45 cable, you eliminate the risk of Wi-Fi interference—essential if your electrical panel is a metal box that acts like a shield against wireless signals.
- Wi-Fi & Bluetooth: It still includes Wi-Fi for flexibility and Bluetooth for the fastest possible pairing and setup via the Shelly app.
Power Monitoring & Safety
The “PM” stands for Power Monitoring. The Pro 1PM provides highly accurate energy data, allowing you to:
- Track Consumption: Measure Volts, Amps, and Watts in real-time.
- Safety Cut-offs: Automatically shut down the circuit if it detects Overpower (too many watts), Overvoltage, or Overtemperature.
- Storage: It often includes local data storage so you don’t lose your energy history if the internet goes down.
